Over 60 delegates attended the IVCC session at the International Congress for Tropical Medicine and Malaria in Brisbane in September.

IVCC CEO, Dr Nick Hamon, gave an overview of the critical role of vector control in malaria control and eradication. He provided the audience of academics, funders, students and practitioners in tropical medicine with the history of IVCC's involvement in the fight against malaria.

The Congress is an  opportunity for delegates to network and share knowledge in the areas of tropical medicine, malaria, parasitology, infectious diseases, zoonoses, veterinary health, travel medicine and more. The program, directed principally at work in the Asia Pacific area, included international plenary speakers, oral presentations, posters, exhibition and social events.
