Impact and cost-effectiveness data is an increasingly important component of the policy making process that drives effective global health intervention implementation. The project identified the need to strengthen the body of knowledge on the cost-effective use of 3GIRS.

Landscaping and preliminary observational analysis have been begun for Mali, Ghana, and Zambia.  In addition, a cluster-randomized 2-armed trial is underway in one district in Zambezia, Mozambique.
