The Trustees have fiduciary responsibility for delivery of the charitable objectives of the IVCC and do through their responsibility for :-
- Appointment of the CEO
- Approval of Strategic Plans, Annual Budgets and implementation plans, and appraisal of performance against those plans
- Ensuring effective and appropriate disbursement of funds
- Monitoring the governance processes of the IVCC
- Financial audit responsibility
- Legal audit responsibility
The Board will also guide and assist the IVCC Exec in :-
- Brokering relationships with upstream and downstream partners
- Supporting communications, fundraising and PR
- Management best practice
