Tom is Professor of Entomology at UC Davis, Director of the Mosquito Research Laboratory and a participant in the IVCC since its inception. His scientific interests focus on acquisition of epidemiologic and ecologic data for assessing mosquito-borne disease prevention programs, rigorously testing fundamental assumptions in public health policy, and developing innovative, cost and operationally effective strategies to prevent mosquito-borne disease.
