Formulation and Repurposing of Active Ingredients for Public Health Applications

Indoor Residual Sprays:  We are currently seeking new projects that introduce new active ingredients into IRS applications, or that improve the effective residuality of sprays.
Target product specification for IRS

Insecticide treated nets :  We are currently seeking new projects that introduce new active ingredients into ITNs applications.  We are specifically not seeking projects to introduce pyrethroids into ITN. 

Target product specification for ITN

Novel Active Ingredients:  We are seeking projects that will identify new active ingredients suitable for development as public health insecticides.  Such projects may include targeted screening programmes, data mining of historical screening programmes or molecular redesign against known target sites. 

Target product specification for new AI

Information Systems:  The Information systems portfolio of the IVCC is currently full and we are not currently able to fund new projects in this area.  However, opportunities to cooperate with some of our existing projects may arise.  In addition we are investigating the possibility of further funding rounds for Information system development.

Vector Control Diagnostic Tools and Kits:  The Tools and Kits portfolio of the IVCC is currently full and we are not currently able to fund new projects in this area.  However, opportunities to cooperate with some of our existing projects may arise.  In addition we are investigating the possibility of further funding rounds for Information system development.
