Dr Laura Roberts

Laura supports the full breadth of IVCC’s communications strategy, with a particular focus on digital strategy, including website and social media. She also leads on communications support for individual programmes and projects, e.g. The New Nets Project. Laura also co-chairs IVCC’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Laura holds an MSci in Geology and a PhD in Geophysics, both from The University of Liverpool. Prior to joining IVCC, Laura worked at the Development Studies Association, a UK based membership organisation for those studying, researching, and teaching in the field of global development. Laura has also held communication positions at the University of Sheffield, PDS Group and the European Geosciences Union, in Munich.
