Advancing vector control innovation and impact in a changing landscape

Vector control has been one of the most effective and cost-effective interventions in the fight against malaria, preventing millions of cases and saving lives worldwide. As the sector adapts to increasing insecticide resistance, funding constraints, evolving procurement dynamics, and growing operational complexity, this conference will bring together stakeholders from across the vector control community to explore how innovation, partnership and effective insecticide resistance management can help sustain progress towards malaria elimination.

About the Stakeholder Forum

This forum, hosted by IVCC, brings together global leaders, implementers, innovators, funders, and policymakers to confront these challenges head-on. It explores how continued investment in vector control innovation is essential to sustaining impact and protecting cost-effectiveness. Central to this discussion is the urgent need for best-practice Insecticide Resistance Management, without which progress towards elimination will stall.

At a time of unprecedented change and uncertainty, success will depend on stakeholders thinking, acting, and collaborating differently. Together, the conference will examine how partnerships, an ability to flex and adapt to changing dynamics, and coordinated global action can unlock a sustainable pathway to malaria elimination, ensuring vector control continues to deliver life-saving impact, even in the most challenging environments.
