Mathias manages three teams: project managment, legal and finance. He is responsible for:
– Development of the portfolio architecture by defining priority focus and the project management framework use by IVCC and partners.
– Strategy implementation by ensuring that projects and partnerships contribute to IVCC’s mission.
– Securing the resources needed by developing a trustworthy relationship with key public/private funders and by maintaining full compliance.
Mathias graduated as an Agronomic Engineer from Agro Paris Tech and spent 17 years in industry before joining IVCC, working for companies such as Rhône-Poulenc, Aventis and Bayer. At these organisations he held different responsibilities, including: product development, business intelligence, portfolio management, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. He later specialised in stakeholder engagement and advocacy in Europe, Asia and Africa.
