Ray Nishimoto

Ray Nishimoto is Executive Advisor of Koei Chemical, a wholly owned affiliate of Sumitomo Chemical that is one of Japan’s leading chemical companies.

He worked as President & CEO of Koei from June 2020 to June 2025. He was Executive Vice President of Sumitomo Chemical and led the Health & Crop Sciences Sector, which includes AgroSolutions and Environmental Health & Vector Control businesses, with more than 25 years of management experience and expertise in the business. Nishimoto joined Sumitomo Chemical in 1980 and has served as an executive officer since 2009 and as a member of the Board from June 2013 to June 2020.
