IVCC at VCWG 2026: Innovating for impact in a resource constrained era

Back

IVCC will participate in the 21st Annual RBM Vector Control Working Group Workshop, taking place 3–5 March 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya. This year’s theme, “Vector Control at a Crossroads: Innovating for Impact in a Resource Constrained Era”, reflects the need to sustain progress and drive innovation despite constrained resources.

The annual VCWG workshop convenes the global vector control community to share best practices, review new evidence, and agree on practical next steps across work streams and task teams.

During VCWG, IVCC will convene a dedicated, invite-only workshop with national malaria control programmes under the theme, “Collaboration with countries, a key tool to malaria elimination – updates and uptake of new vector control tools.”

The dialogue will bring together representatives from national malaria control programmes to review the IVCC portfolio and market access updates, and to share progress on the implementation of emerging vector control tools.

IVCC will also convene a safeguarding workshop during the week, reinforcing our commitment to responsible partnership and strong governance across our work.

IVCC will play an active role in shaping the technical discussions at VCWG 2026, with our team contributing expertise across multiple work streams and task teams:
